    About This Program

Building a solid financial statement and valuation framework We will use the case method almost exclusively in this course. The course develops an accounting-based valuation framework that integrates a firm’s strategy, its financial performance, and its accounting credibility. The programme applies the above framework to a variety of business valuation contexts, such as, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged buyouts (LBOs), hedge fund investors and sell side analysts. On day 1 we focus on accounting analysis and earnings quality. Day 2 will continue to focus on accounting analysis and we will also look at how to analyse financial statements. Day 3 will look at forecasting and valuation theory. If you have any questions related to the or procedures, we are here to help you.

    Why INSEAD?

INSEAD built its identity on a single, stubbornly held conviction: that business is inherently global, and that any leadership education which ignores that fact is incomplete. With campuses on three continents and a faculty drawn from over 40 nationalities, it is the rare institution where that claim is structural rather than aspirational — and nowhere is that more visible than in its executive education offerings, where cohorts routinely reflect 50 or more nationalities in a single room.
