    About This Program

The program provides a multidisciplinary experience, including three subject blocks: governance, board committees and strategy. The goal is to prepare and develop members of corporate bodies (executive and non-executive) from a fit-and-proper perspective for the demanding challenges in leading institutions, considering the best practices and the objectives of good governance. This program can be combined with the Corporate Governance: Acting on Boards Program and concluded with a "Practice-Based Track," to obtain an Advanced Certificate in Corporate Governance, demonstrating the transfer of knowledge to the business reality.

Why Nova School of Business & Economics?

Nova School of Business & Economics sits at the intersection of rigorous quantitative research and applied management practice, built on a Portuguese-language economy that punches well above its weight in international trade, finance, and consulting. Its Carcavelos campus, opened in 2022, was purpose-designed for collaborative executive learning in a way that few purpose-built business school facilities in Europe can match. For a senior professional who wants the intellectual credibility of a triple-crown school with direct access to Atlantic-facing markets, Nova SBE is a specific answer, not a generic one.
