    About This Program

Essential Management provides new and experienced managers in growing businesses with the skills required to become commercially-focussed, confident members of the senior team. Here at Cranfield, we are passionate about helping managers and teams realise the potential of their businesses. Leaders of small to medium-sized enterprises need to spend more of their time working ON the business strategically rather than IN it. They will be enabled to do so if their Managers have the skills to take on more delegated responsibility for delivering business goals and targets and driving day to day performance. Our experience suggests that many managers are already overstretched, and require training and development if they are to manage time, people, money and processes more effectively.

    Why Cranfield School of Management?

Cranfield is one of the few business schools in the world that operates entirely at postgraduate level, with no undergraduates on campus — which means the faculty, the facilities, and the culture are built exclusively around people who already have careers, not people who are just beginning them. Its location on an active aerospace and technology campus in Bedfordshire gives it an intellectual atmosphere you simply won't find in a city-centre school, and its executive education programmes carry a reputation for rigorous, application-focused learning that has been earned over decades, not manufactured for a ranking.
