    About This Program

You've mastered the foundational skills in IDEAL Essentials. Now you're ready to take the next step. IDEAL Impact is where you move from knowing the core skills to truly embodying them. This program is designed to deepen your coaching capability by integrating the critical power of Emotional Intelligence (EI). You will learn not only how to coach, but how to be a coach. In this hybrid program, you will dive deep into how EI separates good coaches from great ones. Through a blend of live, intensive workshops and self-paced asynchronous learning, you'll explore how to use EI to manage your own presence, build deeper trust with your clients, and help them navigate complex environments. You'll also go deeper into the IDEAL Conversation Framework, a powerful structure that supports best practices of emotional intelligence and Intentional Change Theory in your coaching conversations. This high-practice program is explicitly mapped to the ICF Core Competencies, moving you significantly forward on your credentialing path. Upon completion, you will earn the IDEAL Coaching with Emotional Intelligence Microcredential, recognizing your advanced skills and deeper practice. This is the second step in the Weatherhead Coaching Certificate Pathway. It provides the rigorous practice, advanced frameworks, and training hours needed to deepen your ability to lead as a coach. In addition, it fulfills the requirements to continue your journey toward the International Coaching Federation's (ICF) ACC credential if you choose.

Why Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management?

If you want executive education grounded in behavioral science and human development rather than spreadsheets and strategy frameworks alone, this is a rare institution where that is not a marketing message but an intellectual tradition.
