    About This Program

The main goal of the executive education programme REM-HSG is to help tomorrow's leaders to turn the economic, environmental, and social challenges of today's energy supply into new business opportunities. As a participant, you will build up expertise about the potential of one of the most attractive growth markets, and identify ways for you and your company to succeed in the new energy industry. A particular focus is on managing disruptive decentralization in the energy market, driven by the convergence of solar photovoltaics, battery storage, digitization, and electric mobility. In cooperation with the Executive School of the University of St.Gallen, one of the leading business schools in Europe, REM-HSG offers you major benefits. The REM-HSG programme draws on live case studies and on-site visits to derive insights and best practices from successful companies and projects in the field of renewable energies. You will be given intensive training and individual coaching that will enable you to identify and exploit the outstanding growth opportunities in the field of renewable energies. All participants will have access to the exclusive executive Alumni network. This Alumni group facilitates exchange among executives who are working on renewable energies from different perspectives. After graduating from the diploma programme, regular Alumni events and the St. Gallen Forum for Management of Renewable Energies enable further networking and education. REM-HSG provides much more than facts and knowledge; it involves real learning that is applicable in the real world to support the successful management of renewable energies. The curriculum of REM-HSG is organised around three modules, each of which lasts for one week. Students complete one module every two months. This enables participants to attend the programme alongside doing their jobs.

    Why University of St. Gallen?

HSG's executive programs are built around a single architectural idea: context-integrated learning, where economics, law, social sciences, and management are taught as a unified system rather than separate disciplines. That interdisciplinary structure, embedded in the school since its founding, produces graduates who reason across functions in a way that single-discipline business schools rarely match. For senior professionals who need to think across organizational silos, that is a concrete structural advantage.
