    About This Program

    Social and sustainable investing has been attracting increasing public interest in the recent decade. With many related investment opportunities appearing on the market, this course aims to provide insights and principles that enable better investment decisions in this emerging field. The course covers the social and environmental impacts of investment decisions in addition to financial returns, and examines the opportunities of social and sustainable investing. It has a specific focus on the Asia-Pacific region and addresses principles of investing, impact investing, corporate social responsibility developments, and ways to invest in social impact bonds and green bonds. This course qualifies as part of a three-course requirement for the award of a NUS Professional Certificate in Financing Sustainability. The other two courses of the requirement are Sustainable Project Financing and Financial Valuation of Social and Environmental Impact.
