About This Program

Boards are under unprecedented scrutiny for strategy, risk, ethics, digital disruption and sustainability. Yet, the pool of board-ready women remains under-leveraged. This intensive, practice-led programme equips accomplished women executives and entrepreneurs to serve effectively as Independent Directors - with the judgment, financial fluency and boardroom presence to add value from Day 1. By the end of four days, participants will be able to: interpret the board responsibilities, duties, and liabilities of Independent Directors; read and question financial statements, grasp value drivers, capital allocation, risk and controls; build leadership capabilities and manage self; oversee sustainability/ESG and stakeholder stewardship with a materiality lens; strengthen board dynamics: influencing without authority, dissent with respect, and ethical courage; and foster real connections between governance theory and boardroom challenges. The programme uses case method, simulations and role plays, and peer coaching with feedback on board presence.
