About This Program

This programme is designed primarily for CEOs, HR executives (e.g., CHROs or Vice Presidents of HR) and COOs who have HRM responsibilities, and senior executives at the same level. The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Programme is designed for executives to explore and respond to new HRM trends and practices, with a focus on management philosophy and HRM expertise. Participants are expected to: understand the relationship between management elements such as business strategy, business needs, organisational management, and talent management; engage in cross-industry, interdisciplinary discussions to explore how to build sustainable competitiveness in an ever-changing business landscape; learn how to improve organisational and talent management through an "outside-in" lens (incorporating insights from marketing and other non-HR functions), while exploring HR best practices in different scenarios from a business perspective; and expand the vision and professional competencies required of HR professionals in a new era. This eight-module programme, tailored to the needs of participants, uses a variety of teaching models, including faculty lectures, case studies focused on the participants' companies, presentations by industry leaders, and roundtable discussions. These diverse approaches are designed to unleash participants' leadership potential and foster innovative thinking to reshape HRM practices. This programme features lectures delivered by leading professors and academics in management research and practice, as well as industry leaders. The curriculum is enriched with real-world business cases, explored through multiple lenses, including strategy, organisational behaviour, HR, finance, marketing, decision-making, and digital transformation. The programme equips senior executives with the insights and tools necessary to navigate opportunities and challenges in HRM and drive sustainable growth for their organisations. This one-year programme consists of eight modules. A certificate of completion will be awarded. Participants gain membership in the CEIBS Alumni Association. Applications are requested at least 30 days before the programme start date. Applications are reviewed as they arrive and admissions are subject to the final confirmation of CEIBS. Any applications received after that date will be considered on the basis of space availability. For more information, please contact our Customer Service Team in Shanghai, Beijing or Shenzhen. Any cancellation made 30 days or more prior to the programme start date is eligible for a full refund of programme fees paid. However, the expenses arising therefrom shall be for the account of the applicant or his/her employer. Any cancellation made less than 30 days prior to the programme start date shall be subject to a fee of 20 percent of the total programme fee. After the programme starts, no fees shall be refunded for participants who withdraw from the programme for any reason. To ensure the continuity of your learning, you are required to make proper arrangements according to the course schedule after receiving your letter of enrollment. We will neither make up lessons for you nor confer you with the certificate of completion if you are absent from the course for personal reasons.
