About This Program

QuantumShift is a rigorous five-day developmental program designed for Canada's most promising high-growth entrepreneurs. Developed in partnership with KPMG Private Enterprise and Ivey Business School, and sponsored by The Globe and Mail and TD, the program accepts only 40 entrepreneurs annually to foster a tight-knit community. Participants are nominated by KPMG Private Enterprise, with final selection determined by The Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship at Ivey. The program is tailored for CEO business owners who are past the startup phase, demonstrating innovation and insight, and who are prepared to elevate their thriving enterprise to a new level of success. It addresses critical issues relevant to entrepreneurs and provides a valuable peer network. Common participants include individuals in Founder, CEO, President, Chair, and Board Member roles. QuantumShift extends beyond a typical executive education program, offering entry into an exclusive peer network where business leaders can share ideas and challenges. Participants maintain connections through bi-annual videoconferences and an annual conference even after the program concludes.

Why Ivey Business School - Western University?

Ivey built its reputation on a single pedagogical conviction: that real business decisions cannot be learned from a textbook. The school produces more Harvard Business School-style cases than any institution outside of HBS itself, and it deploys that method consistently across everything it offers — including executive education. For a senior professional who wants to be challenged in the room, not lectured at, that distinction matters.
