    About This Program

Great leaders use their whole brain but, in the same way great athletes use their body, effort is focused where it is needed while other parts remain at ease. In this program, you'll learn the art and science of seamlessly transitioning between the two poles of thought represented by analytic and empathic thinking-and you'll understand how to avoid getting stuck in a single line of thought-or having a limp in your thinking- as average leaders so often do. While you may already be familiar with some useful concepts from neuroscience, such as the amygdala hijack, you will expand your repertoire through this workshop, gaining a comprehensive palette of brain-based concepts and the ability to see the role the brain plays in a variety of workplace problems, from people pleasing and disorganization to bureaucratic creep, alienation, and ethical lapses. Through experiential exercises, you will unlock lessons from neuroscience and enhance your ability to socially engage and motivate others, avoid cognitive biases, stay on task, and maintain ethical awareness.
