    About This Program

Fundamentals of Portfolio Management is the first online investment course in our Asset and Portfolio Management Certificate program and was designed by professors Jules van Binsbergen and Christopher Geczy to help you evaluate investment strategies and performance. Throughout this course, you’ll develop a strong understanding of risk-reward tradeoffs and the benefits of portfolio diversification. You’ll also learn about the fiduciary duty of an investment advisor, transnational regulation, financial intermediaries, and the regulation of mutual funds. By the end of this course, you’ll have a firm grasp on the industry’s principles, attributes, players, strategies, and regulations.

    Why Wharton Executive Education?

When Fortune 500 boards, sovereign wealth funds, and serial founders want their senior teams sharpened on finance, strategy, or leadership, they repeatedly arrive at the same address in West Philadelphia. Wharton's executive programs are built on the same faculty who define the academic disciplines themselves β€” not practitioners brought in to translate research, but the researchers writing it.
