    About This Program

Women in leadership roles are at an all-time high. Still, stereotypes and lack of support impact their growth and influence, leading to blockages and needless challenges. Female leaders' continued growth in high-ranking roles calls for a movement of all genders to practice leadership styles that propel women in business for greater personal and organizational success. The Women's Executive Leadership training program is a professional growth opportunity for all genders to let go of perceived gender barriers to understand how women's executive management roles positively influence a company's agility and longevity. The advanced and nuanced leadership skills acquired from this training empower all leaders to reach their full potential while enabling them to have a better understanding of and deeper empathy for women leaders-leading to fresh perspectives and stronger synergy. Women in executive leadership positions face unique challenges that require a different skill set than their male counterparts. While women have made substantial gains in the business world, today's workplace has yet to fully embrace female forms of power and leadership, nor leverage the unique perspective and strengths that women can bring to the table. This four-day leadership program for women (and leaders of any gender), led by Faculty Director Laura Kray, provides a dynamic blend of activities including high-ranking guest speakers from top Silicon Valley companies, illuminating experiential exercises, and intensive feedback.

    Why UC Berkeley Haas?

Haas sits inside one of the world's great research universities, in one of the world's great innovation ecosystems β€” and it uses both deliberately. Programs regularly draw on Berkeley's wider strengths in engineering, public policy, and data science, and participants leave with access to a network that spans Silicon Valley, global finance, and public-sector leadership in ways that few business schools can genuinely replicate.
