About This Program

This engaging program provides strategies and skills that anyone with limited authority can use to communicate to people at all levels with competence and credibility. Participants learn and practise methods for conveying routine and sensitive messages clearly and confidently when working remotely, communicating virtually or interacting in person. The course covers communicating upwards, laterally, informing others and persuading without formal authority, across two days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why HEC Montreal?

HEC Montréal sits at a rare intersection: it is the oldest business school in Canada, yet it consistently punches above its weight on the international stage — ranked among the world's best and operating entirely across two languages in one of North America's most culturally distinct cities. For executives who want rigorous, research-grounded learning without the brand inflation of some Anglo-Saxon institutions, this is a serious alternative.
