    About This Program

Reach a higher level of leadership performance Developing your leadership capabilities is a lifelong journey. Since completing IMD’s High Performance Leadership or Inspirational Leadership program, changes have inevitably occurred in your professional and personal life, giving rise to new challenges and self-reflection. Advanced High Performance Leadership offers you a unique opportunity to spend five days in an Alpine village in Switzerland to reflect, refocus, and recharge. After reconnecting with the key pillars of high-performance leadership and analyzing how you have embedded them into your work and life, you will define what you want to achieve during the week and develop a clear path to explore. The program’s experiential approach invites you to bring your own challenges to the table and participate in practical exercises guided by expert guest speakers. You will examine the role of emotions in leadership, how to bring to life the secure base leadership principles, and how to deal with conflict more skillfully. You will also tap into neuroscience and learn how to activate the right side of your brain to break through self-limiting patterns. The program offers a highly interactive and immersive experience. You will engage in deep, meaningful connections within smaller groups, take part in guided meditation and reflective walks in nature, and have personalized one-on-one coaching to tackle specific issues that are holding you back. By the end of the week, you will have a clearer vision of how to continue your leadership journey and inspire the people you lead.

Why International Institute for Management Development?

IMD runs one of the smallest, most selective executive education portfolios in the world — and that is precisely the point. Based on the shores of Lake Geneva, the school has built its entire identity around a single question: what does it actually take to develop a leader who performs under real pressure? The answer, refined over decades, is a model that combines unusually small cohorts, faculty who consult actively with global corporations, and a Swiss-precision focus on measurable behavioral change.
